The Kintess School is a Candidate School* for the Primary Years Programme (PYP). This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that the Kintess School believes is important for our students.
*Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme, or the Career-related Programme (CP). The Kintess School is a private school dedicated to a bilingual (often multilingual) education in the Sugar Land/Richmond area. Kintess is proud to serve Fort Bend County and the greater Houston area. All our teachers are native speakers, constantly trained in the latest neuroscientific research, and committed to customizing the education of each student. Meet the Founder & Head of School
Karine Pousset is a pioneer in true bilingual education. She has been a director of private international schools for more than 20 years. Her experience in Houston includes being the Head of School at AWTY International School, as well as founding the Lycée International of Houston (LIH).

Educational Assessment Interview
The application process includes a unique neuroscience-based educational interview. This is our opportunity to get to know your child. This helps us customize a curriculum best suited to each student’s needs. Parents are welcome to be present for this meeting. As an inclusive school, we share the interview results with you in complete transparency.
